At APR, social development is a value that is close to our hearts. Adala Prabhakara Reddy CharitableTrust, a philanthropic wing of APR, helps the weaker sections, shelters the poor and encourages self-help women groups. Some of the important activities of the Trust are:
Extending assistance to the poor by providing free building material for house construction.
Conducting regular & periodic medical camps. More than 2000 free eye operations have been conducted
in these camps.
Providing vocational training to women.
Supplying safe & hygienic drinking water in rural areas.
Teaching the importance of sanitation & cleanliness.
Advocating the significance of self reliance and self employment. |
